Engr. Eric Anyamene (MBA, PMP)

Engr. Eric N Anyamene is an accomplished Project Manager and Management Consultant with over 17years extensive experience spanning infrastructure, telecommunication, information technology and synchronous optical network.

He is a leading Engineer of next-generation edge access equipment and multi-service broadband solutions for the IT industry. He has an extensive background in planning and managing cross-functional business operations and technology projects. Eric is an analytical and a conceptual thinker who effectively partners with other team members to assess opportunities, facilitate strategic decisions, and drive successful implementations.

A recognized technology leader known for crafting the requisite strategic vision to achieve business goals, global team-building, and IT solutions development credited with strong Return on Investment (ROI) and operational improvement.

Eric’s ability to assess complex situations and identify appropriate solutions underscores his ability to gain meaningful insight and follow up with thorough analysis. He is particularly skilled at group facilitation and enjoys forging consensus among people with diverging ideas and opinions. Eric has deep working knowledge of Engineering principles, high speed telecommunication transport technology with expatriates in SONET, broadband and fiber optics technology. Eric has helped built an organization and management team focused on achieving sustained revenue growth, and the development of true foreign direct investment in Nigeria.

He has managed a broad array of projects in industries ranging from telecommunication and information technology to financial services, infrastructure, education and philanthropy.

Prior to his current appointment as Special Assistant to Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nigeria on Project Inspection and Monitoring, Eric was a Senior Project Manager for one of the worlds’ foremost telecommunication companies based in Dallas, Texas USA having worked himself up through the industry chain displaying dedication, excellent skills and leadership.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria; Diploma in System Administration and Optical Network from Southern Methodist University in Texas (SMU); Post-Grad in Project Management (PMP), MSc in Management & Administrative Studies and MBA from the School of Management at University of Texas in Dallas (UTD).

He also holds other IT and industry related certifications including: MCSE, SCSA, CCNA, ISO 9001 certified; he is also an associate member of Project Management Institute PMI, member Institute of Management Consultants USA, and member Delta Epsilon Lota Honor Society USA. Eric is happily married and blessed with two children.
